A piece influenced by the nature of communication between human and machine. Looking at the ‘beep’ as an alternative, dystopian method of communication and touching on noise pollution due to the purpose and design of this new sound to be intentionally alarming.

Sampling ‘beeps’ around my house to compose in Ableton - a program for musicians - and adding effects to warp the sound, such as reverb and echo. Layering these sounds on top of one another creates an other-worldly, almost sci-fi feel
